About Shaun
Shaun has spent 20 years at the forefront of major tech shifts inside some of the world's biggest media and technology companies. He knows how AI works from the inside out.
At Microsoft, he led AI safety and quality for a content feed seen by over a billion people, building the systems that make AI safer for everyone. In 2025, he worked with Google to train newsrooms how to use AI.
Now, he brings that 'big tech' experience directly to you.
Shaun is also the independent reviewer for the Australian Code of Practice on Disinformation and Misinformation and recently completed a Masters by Research degree at the University of Technology Sydney, focusing on the intersection of journalism and AI.
Prior to AI, Shaun held a variety of roles in technology, communications and media. He was a senior leader in digital news businesses like the BBC and Nine, and spent time in Japan working on corporate communications for companies like Uber, AOL and Docusign. We only employ highly experienced consultants. This ensures that every training program and consulting engagement is delivered with the highest standards of expertise and practical relevance, bringing you diverse perspectives and deep industry knowledge.
